Predator Motorsport have been trading for 30 years (formerly C.J.'s Motorcycles of Hartford, Welwyn Garden City & Hatfield.)  In this time we have gone from strength to recession and back many changes have taken place over this time and now we offer Car M.O.T., Tyres & Tracking as well as the Motorcycle servicing, repairs, Parts, discount Tyres and Bespoke one off exhausts in stainless steel.
Founded by Colin Fitch back in Sep 1977 in his mum & dad’s garage offering a first class straightforward service to the customer. With an engineering background trying to get people in the early days to accept change was hard. When Colin first brought out the split hyvo cam chain conversion which saved a entire engine strip down no body wanted to know we sold 15 in the first year followed by 600+ in the second now every one uses them. Trying something different was the norm first company in UK to turbo charge a 125 motorcycle! Introduced undersize crankshaft shells for Honda’s saving having to buy a new crankshaft, another problem that the company over come in the 70's was Japanese cylinder heads being destroyed when the customer let the engine run low on oil thus righting off the bike Colin and his team brought out needle roller conversions and phosphor bronze inserts thus saving the cylinder head and the bike. Let alone the customer a fortune.
In 1982 Brought out own range of exhausts as well as making them for another well known Motorcycle Race Tuners in Hertford called the falcon and works performance range available in mild steel or chrome at that time (chrome was the only thing we contracted out only to send a shipment abroad and the chrome came off)
1992 bit the bullet brought a 3d plain bend stainless steel pipe bender and put a polishing shop in house followed by a power press, spinning machine etc.
So now we have the only one of it's kind one stop bike and car shop in the uk
Providing the customer see's what he wants we can make it!
Raw material comes in we form, manipulate it, polish it, fit or post out the finished product!
In 1999 Colin sold a percentage of the company to Garry Bigg and brought out a new range of exhausts called predator and also changed the name to co-inside
in 2001 moved the there current premises in south mundells in Welwyn garden city and now offer the full list of services on the other side of this page.
Predator have also been proud sponsors in past years of Ian cobby, leon haslam, and Lewis Hamilton (when Colin ran crane motor sport via zip karts) we now have closed our sponsorship and only sponsor the royal artillery flying gunners display team shown above.
